1. What is the idea?

In advertising world, TVCS stands for Television Commercials. Retailers & other businesses use TVCS to promote their businesses and help drive customers and prospects to brick & mortar locations to obtain services, shop and buy. In addition, TVCS promotes brand and increasing visibility for a business.

The idea is simple : To develop tvcs.in as a generic "TVCS site" by linking "TVCS" of various retailers & other businesses operating in India. For long-term viability of the idea and as business model : to sell 1,000,000 pixels as Pixcel Advertisement on the Home Page & to offer subscription of Pixel List of tvcs.in . The Pixel Advertiser may directly link their TVCs available on their website. Also, such direct links will be available from Pixel List.

2. How did the idea come up?

India has largest number of store outlets in the world. Taking Retail (organised & unorgainsed) as a whole, the average is more than 9 outlets per 1,000 people.

3. Why should I buy pixels on StoreLocator.in?

Because

You will have an image and a link to your site on the homepage of a site (i.e. tvcs.in) that could potentially be seen by millions of people over the coming years.
The pixels on the home page are limited. The possibility is that if you do not act early, you may not get a second chance to place your Pixel Advertisement on the home page of StoreLocator.in

4. Why can't I buy one single pixel?

Because

You can't display anything meaningful in one pixel - nor click it easily - so visually, it would be pointless.
Businesses would pay to have a meaningful graphic on the homepage. Hence, the minimum buy is Rs. 10000 (INR) - a 10x10 block - for a calender year.

5. What are the subscription rate for TVCS List?

The present subscription rate of TVCS List is Rs. 2,500 per business entry (for the year 2008).

However, it is FREE for Pixel Advertiser till they continue as Pixel Advertiser on home page of tvcs.in
